So Louvain la Neuve may be in the running for 'sweetest-most-epic-venue-ever' on this trip. It was in a 700 YEAR OLD stable ( and we were sleeping in the 700 year old farmhouse). Daniel played a set before a screening of a documentary about a french underground comicbook artist.
It was dope.
They had posters from all their past shows-- jack rose, glen jones, larkin grimm, micah blue smaldone (the stable is actually where he recorded his 'Live in Belgium' record), paul metzger-- even kimya dawson!
They made us an incredible meal, too. It was really out of this world!
